Table Saw Rental Guide

Ultimate Table Saw Rental Guide
Whether you are using a table saw rental for enjoyment or for work purposes, the table saw is one of the most beneficial tools that you can rent. Like all equipment rental tools, table saws can be extremely dangerous and must be used appropriately.

Here are some suggestions and ideas for using your table saw rental.

  • By no means start your table saw with the timber bit you are preparing to cut positioned up against the saw blade. As an alternative, start your table saw and let the saw blade reach its full speed first. Once the blade is moving at full speed, use a light amount of pressure to move the wood piece towards the blade. Never force the wood with too much pressure.

  • Never reach around or over the saw blade whilst it is moving or while it is ceased! Fingers, hands, and forearms are no match up for a rotating or a non-spinning saw blade.

  • You will discover that wood slivers or cut off parts of wood will become crammed or wedged inside the table saw rental blade, the anti-kickback will pawls, and the table top will shut off. Before you try to get rid of any of these jammed pieces of timber from the table saw rental, turn off the power to saw and wait until the blade has completely stopped rotating.

  • Always wear basic safety eyeglasses when running your table saw rental.

  • When slicing long or broad pieces of timber, use an adjustable saw horse or supportive device to rest the wood on that is not resting on the saw's desk top. These can be rented along with your table saw at the rental store location. In any other case, the unsupported weight of the panel may result in the wooden board to shift or clasp on the table and create serious safety and slicing problems.

  • Many table saws have a dedicated power switch and come with a lockable lock holes. If you have children in the area, always keep your rented table saw secured when you are not using it. Ideally use a padlock or cable lock to secure the table saw rental's power switch. If you cannot lock your power switch, always keep your table saw rental unplugged when it is not in use.

  • To keep the timber piece from shifting when you are using a miter gauge on the table saw rental, cut to form and glue a piece of sandpaper to the face of the miter gauge. The sandpaper will help maintain the piece of timber from moving on the table saw rental while it is being cut. Also, make sure that you have your miter gauge secured in place before you begin cutting.

  • Do not try to cut more than a single piece of timber at a time!

  • You can use a combination square to double check your saw blade's 45 degree and 90 degree bevel adjustments. You can also use a combination square to help make sure that each end of your saw blade are correctly aligned.

  • When using your table saw rental do not stand directly in front of the saw blade - instead, stand to either side of it. This will help keep you from getting injured if the the saw blade catches a piece of cut wood and tosses it at you during cutting.

  • Turn your table saw rental off and eliminate the table saw's power cable from its power source before you modify cutting blades, install or remove add-ons, make repairs, or carry out any sort of cleaning or maintenance on your table saw.

  • Never operate your table saw rental without having the throat plate (or table insert) being in location. Also, before you start using your table saw, make certain that you have adjusted your plate/insert so it is flush with the desk top surface area. You can do this by securing or loosening the plate's insert's adjustment anchoring screws. Resting a ruler cross-wise above the throat plate insert right after it has been inserted directly into its position on the table top will permit you to see which screws you need to tighten up or loosen to make the plate level with the table top.
